The Beginning of Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun
1996 Teacher Woo Myung establishes Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun. November. First class meditates at Seonyu-dong, Mungyeong-si, Korea
1997 February. Starting from the fourth class of meditators, a weekly program is permanently established and implemented
1999 The Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Social Organization is formed.
2000 January. Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Youth Camp begins. First class meditates.
2000 July. The Corporation is registered and legally recognized and established as the corporation called “The Center for the Reformation of the Consciousness”
2001 June. Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun is registered as a nonprofit organization
2001 August. The completion of and the relocating and opening ceremony for the Meditation Main Center in Gyeryong Mt. (located in the city of Nonsan, Chungnam Province) is held.
2001 November. South Chungcheong Province appoints Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Lifelong Education Institution
2001 Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Teachers Association is established.
2002 July. The first class of teachers meditate and complete the Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Teachers Job Training Course.
The seeds are spread
Peace for the World and the Self
2002 September. Teacher Woo Myung visits Huntsville, Alabama, United States. There the International Association of Educators for World Peace award him the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Price.
2003 January. First Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun meditation training for Koreans living abroad is implemented (Huntsville, Alabama, United States)
2004 January. Teacher Woo Myung opens meditation locations throughout Asia and Oceania. He begins his annual meditation education tour holding seminars worldwide.
2004 July. Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun University Camp is established. The first class of university students meditate.
2004 August. Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Medical Association is established.
2004 November. The Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun “Jeoninkwan(Completion Building)” opens in the Meditation Main Center .

2005 January. The Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Alliance is established.
2005 The Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun Medical Association’s Volunteering in the Community goes into effect.
2008 March. For the very first time, meditation is chosen and established as a liberal arts course at four different universities in Korea.
2012 February. Human Completion begins.
2013 “Talk Concert” is hosted in 18 major cities across the country of South Korea.
2015 In 2015, 4500 people reach Human Completion. 330 centers throughout the world are practicing Ma-Eum Soo-Ryun meditation.
